Who are we?
Our names are Trine and Endre and we are a couple originaly from Tromsø in the nother part of Norway, but the last years before Italy was spent in Bergen.
In March 2018 we quit our office jobs at the University of Bergen and Sparebanken Vest. The desire to do something compleatly different was to great to ignore, even if we enjoyed Bergen alot.
The dream was to move to Italy and start an small agriturismo, and this is was we have today. We have three apartments for rent and about 2 hectars om vineyard. If you want to read more about us, you can go here.
Our farm
We have bought a small farm in a village called Castelnuovo Calcea in Piemonte. For Norwegians, the neighboring village, Agliano Terme, is more known as the Norwegian TV channel TV2 has made a documentary about the bi-annual fish-festival they arrange.
The farm consists of two houses. The main house is a classical L-shaped. This is where we live and also where the cantina is located. The cantina is where the wine eventually will be kept for aging and storage.
Our guests get to live in a separate building. The old outhouse is renovated and converted into three modern, but cozy apartments. These are perfect for 2 persons but can host up to 4/5 depending on the apartment.
For our guests, we can arrange wine tastings for the frames wines, or we can arrange tastings at other producers. We can tell you how to find the best biking routes and where to get the best food. We can also arrange pizza-nights where we make pizza outside in a woodfired oven.
